The Facility Design Award honors an individual or organization that has designed, built or implemented the most innovative facility within the region, utilizing the latest techniques available within a healthcare environment.
This year, the Facility Design Award was presented to Luckett & Farley for the Fleming County Hospital project. Rural healthcare providers are challenged with attracting and retaining skilled professionals while maintaining facilities that are efficient, flexible and patient-friendly. The new 52-bed healthcare center at Fleming County Hospital was designed to fulfill these needs with an innovative state-of-the-art facility with all the amenities, services and style found in a metropolitan hospital. Dedication to state-of-the-art care and improved patient experience are apparent throughout this facility.
