A. O. Sullivan Excellence in Education Award - The Cardinal Hill Therapeutic Garden Program
This year, the award was presented to The Cardinal Hill Therapeutic Garden Program. With this in mind, they started the Therapeutic Garden program with the idea to create a space for clients to engage in meaningful activities outdoors as part of their therapy program. Thanks to a grant from the Junior League of Lexington, Cardinal Hill was able to create a place staff could bring clients for therapy that expanded the traditional opportunities for rehabilitation.
